The ultimate seaside sanctuary exists at Gulf Harbour - a tranquil escape just a short distance from Auckland's bustling city centre. With its stunning marina, world-class golf course, and breathtaking scenery, Gulf Harbour is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

The team at Aurae worked in tandem with the engineer, architect, and builder to create a property that affords privacy, without infringing on the incomparable view.

Fixed louvre blades for luxury homes

Challenge

Located on the prominent point of a peninsula, the property forms part of a prestigious community. This meant that it was extremely important to ensure the design and product was in keeping with the neighbouring properties, while still creating a distinct and unique aesthetic. Only the best solution was acceptable.

Solution

We worked with the architect to design, supply and install fixed louvre blades. The louvre blades were designed to complement the straight lines of the roof and cladding, while ensuring they provided the needed sunshade and durability in the coastal location.

In a stunning dark finish, these louvre blades beautifully harmonize with the dark tray cladding and create a striking contrast against the light brick. Not only do they add visual appeal, but they also serve the practical purpose of redirecting and reflecting sunlight and heat away from the house.
