The shutters open and close in a folding motion so are easy to operate and provide great functionality to a home. Bi-fold shutters are ideal for spots like decks and verandas where you may not want the space completely open, all the time.

Most shutters will consist of an infill of horizontal louvre blades. Louvre blades have been used on buildings since the middle ages, with some of the earliest louvre blades still visible on churches and other historic buildings throughout Europe. There are now a range of modern louvre systems available that work well with exterior shutters.
